08/10/05- The Checkley Youth Group Production

Over the summer, a number of our members helped the Checkley Youth Group in a production as part of Checkley Medieval Festival. Three mini-dramas were performed on temporary staging in the Church. New material in a new location with many talented youngsters – all encouraging stuff for the future of the Players. The show was performed to a full Church – standing room only!

Meanwhile, the cast are busy rehearsing 2 nights a week for the Autumn production of Cooney's “ It Runs in the family ”. If the laughs at rehearsals are anything to go by, then we're in for a treat come November!
